Honest questions, Todd:
1. Is there salvation for mentally disabled adults who cannot articulate any points of doctrine?
2. Is there assurance of salvation for adults apart from “evidence of regeneration?”
3. Speaking of evidence of regeneration/ salvation: first, I’ll quote the gty.org article you referenced in the video regarding this:
“According to Scripture, true believers follow Christ (John 10:27), confess their sins (1 John 1:9), love their brothers (1 John 3:14), obey God’s commandments (1 John 2:3; John 15:14), do the will of God (Matt. 12:50), abide in God’s Word (John 8:31), keep God’s Word (John 17:6), and do good works (Eph. 2:10).”
I often: fail to follow Christ; fail to confess my sins (especially those which I’m not aware of, or the ones that are so familiar and natural to me that I tend to self-rationalize them); fail to love the brethren (especially one who, e.g., just cut me off in traffic); fail to obey God’s commandments; fail to do the will of God; fail to abide in God’s Word, fail to keep God’s Word; and finally, fail to do good works. So my question is this: is there any assurance of salvation for me?

Wow! I remember this guy in high school. He was the one that everyone wanted to punch in the head and got taped up and stuffed in a locker because he was so obnoxious and repulsive. Condescending and know it all that knows nothing are not traits for drawing people to listen to. Troll
