      Really… our president gets the blame for that too? Wow. Obama is such a terrible Communist, the stock market is at continuous all-time highs, he is cutting international free trade deals, unions continue to decline under his presidency, our production of fossil fuels has exploded under his presidency…. that’s our President!

      Jehovah’s Witnesses should oppose this on theological grounds, everyone else on civic grounds.

  5. Romans 13 states “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.”(1)

    The US Declaration of Independence (the documented that distinguished Americans as a collective of self-governing individuals) and the Constitution of the United States (the document which formalizes our collective Union and sets up the structure of our federal government) both clearly state that We the People are governing authority in this nation(2,3), and that we have ordained a “republican form of government” (meaning rule of law).

    Therefore, since the 5th amendment to the Constitution of the United States codifies our natural (Creator given) right to refuse to submit self-incriminating evidence, Christians should ABSOLUTELY be opposed to this!

    I thought the Supreme Court just ruled police officers now need a warrant for this prior to the blood draw due to the lack of exigency and 4th Amendment violations.

    I am opposed to this kind of force, but from a different angle, We came on to a crash scene which turned out to be the children of our dear friends. , 16 and 10 at the time tthey had been cut off by a young 18 year old and they all could have been killed, how they where not, God only knows , but you could smell alchol from the 18 year old cars and area and the cops said he was plastered and refused to give sample… which , are you kidding me !!! he almost killed himself and two children in the other truck and he has a right to not give his samples to try to get off….. thats a deal breaker in my books… thats criminal, whos rights for whos..??/

    • This is not about drinking and driving. This is about standing up now for our Creator-given rights before we (referring to Christ followers here) are treated the same way and either waterboarded in an attempt to make us denounce our faith and/or receive a Mark in order to buy/sell during the Antichrist’s reign.

    as an American , I would be against it but in Pa , you have to submit to a breath test or lose your license . As a Christian , as long as it is the law and does not violate my faith , I would not be against it . only laws that compel me to disobey God , would I be against and refuse. for instance , the features of Obamacare that would try and force employees to buy and cover health insurance for employees that included murder of innocent babies while in the mother’s womb.

    I think we have to think and behave like Christ.this is similar albeit not the same as Christ on the road to the cross. I think its reprehensible however Christ while unjustified went to get beating and hung he submitted to authority since God is in control. He relinquished control to government authority and so should we. As Christians we should recognise we have no rights but privelage. And be it as it may “unconstitutional” or wrong we must submit to authority as long as we are not sinning against God. Being a Christian is about submission, and while you are tied down if you are Christian preach the Gospel and love your enemies. That’s my 2 cents. Witnesstothelost.WordPress.com
